Spurious Was County Clare once part of Connaught and if so should it join Connaught again? For It would give a much needed boost to Connaught Hurling - to allow Galway and Clare to fight it out for the annual Connaught Championship. it could provide a wider area to choose the Connaught rugby team from and bring Connaught up to the level of Leinster, Munster and Ulster. Against Galway wouldn't have it all its own way in Hurling. The idea of putting Clare into Connaught is just plain stupid. As other arguements appear in the discussion area we will add them under the appropriate heading!
